Huawei presents one of the most expected products for the photovoltaic market. The new modular lithium battery Huawei LUNA2000-5/10/15-S0. This high voltage battery will be compatible with a wide range of self-consumption inverters in the market but it is especially interesting to use it together with the new Huawei SUN2000 2-6KTL-L1 single-phase inverters. This new Huawei battery will allow for parallel connection of up to 30kWh thanks to its modular design of 5kWh in its different models of 5, 10 and 15kWh.

The new LUNA2000 battery from Huawei has 5kWh capacity modules. Up to 3 modules can be stacked to obtain a capacity of 15kWh although 2 towers can be connected in parallel to reach 30kWh. To give an example, if we count a 5kW inverter and a 5kWh battery, we could obtain a total of 10kW from our installation. This is possible thanks to the 2x POWER Battery Ready technology of the new Huawei SUN2000-5KTL-L1 single-phase hybrid inverters.

Huawei LUNA2000 models:

• 5kWh Huawei LUNA2000-5-S0 battery
• 10kWh Huawei LUNA2000-10-S0 battery
• 15kWh Huawei LUNA2000-15-S0 battery

The new Huawei LUNA2000-S0 battery consists of a BMU or BMS LUNA2000-5KW-C0 control module and 1 to 3 lithium battery modules LUNA2000-5-E0.
