The Sungrow 1PH 5KW (SG5K-D) inverter is a single-phase inverter, suitable for residential PV systems. The inverter achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.4%. Because a spirit level is added to the mounting plate, the installation of the inverter is even faster. Adjustment of the inverter is possible via the display and buttons or via the app. Furthermore, management is possible via the app or web interface. Furthermore, there are various safety features that make the whole both safe and reliable.

Easy installation The spirit level added to the mounting plate allows for faster installation of the inverter by reducing the number of actions required to align the inverter correctly. Connecting the inverter is also simplified by using unique connectors that are easy to plug into the inverter. The device can then be put into operation by reading the display and using the control buttons on the inverter, or by using the corresponding app.

Simple management The same app allows insight into all data of the solar panel installation, 24 hours a day. In addition to being able to view all information, the app can also be used for troubleshooting.

Safety and reliability The Sungrow 1PH Inverter 5KW (SG5K-D) has a built-in RCD, a Residual-Current Device. This device is capable of detecting dangerous leakage currents and as soon as an abnormality is detected, e.g. when a person is exposed to electricity, the device will shut down the system within 20 to 40 milliseconds to prevent electrocution. There is also overvoltage protection, a switch on the DC side and short circuit protection on the AC side.
